Which areas do you cover?

I cover SK8 postcode area in Stockport. This includes Heald Green, Cheadle, Cheadle Hulme and Gately, and some nearby places.

Will you cover other areas of Stockport or Manchester?

Unfortunately, no.
I have done this in the past, but due to the cost of transport, and the time it takes to get to visits outside of my local area, it is not feasible for me to do it as a small business. So I have had to decide to cover just a strict small area.

Cancellations

SK8 Cat Sitting understands that situations change, and sometimes a booking needs to be cancelled. However, it is asked that the client provides as much notice as possible (minimum 72 hours)so that they are not required to pay a cancellation fee as listed below:

• Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the first visit – NO Cancellation Fee
• Cancellations made within 72 hours before the first visit – 50% Cancellation Fee
• Cancellations made within 42 hours before the first visit – 75% Cancellation Fee
• Cancellations made within 24 hours before the first visit – 100% Cancellation Fee

Do you look after other animals?

I specialise in cats, but I can cover these too if there are other small animals or fish at the property with the cat/s. This needs to be discussed at the free Meet & Greet, and additional costs will be added depending on care.

How do you label and store keys?

Keys are never labelled with addresses and are only identifiable to me. They are stored in a secure, locked box within my home.

Do you look after elderly cats?

Yes, I do. I understand that older cats have much more special needs than youngsters, and I am happy to work out a suitable plan to ensure they get the best care while you’re away. (I also understand the different issues with litter tray use/being sick etc, and am fully prepared and happy to clean up where necessary)
